Biography
Taking their name from a classic Fender amplifier model, New Hampshire's Princeton Reverbs Colonial began as a solo project of vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter Paul Vittum, and has since expanded to include members Darren Cloutier (guitar), Jim Wood (drums), Andrew St. Aubin (keyboards, xylophone, bass), and Russ Sweeter (keyboards). Combining elements of Guided by Voices-style lo-fi rock and Elephant 6-ish experimental pop, the Reverbs have garnered accolades for their whimsical fairy tale concept albums. Also the centerpiece of Red Carpet Ring, a label started by Vittum while he was still in high school, the Reverbs are experimental pop talent scouts, producing and distributing the music of musicians that meet their standards of pop precocity.
