David's Bridal did a survey about couples using social media to prepare for their weddings. Check out some of the results . . .             

--15% of brides think it's fine to have electronic invitations . . . and one in four are using social networks to handle RSVPs from guests. 

--45% of couples have set up a special website for their wedding . . . and 9% will live stream the wedding ceremony for people who can't make it.

--Two thirds of all brides think it's okay to announce your engagement on Facebook or by email . . . and 59% think it's fine to text people the news.

But Twitter and Instagram are off limits. 60% of brides think that announcing your engagement with either of them would be tacky. (PR Newswire)
