Zemenay Auditore showed up at the mall on foot, but asked to borrow a wheelchair because she said a leg injury was acting up. An employee agreed to let her use a chair, and even pushed her to the Apple store, then to her car.
When she asked for another spin around the shopping center, the worker declined . . . which led her to call the emergency number for aid.
A dispatcher warned Auditore about frivolous use of 911, but that didn't deter her from pushing her luck and calling again . . . at which point she was arrested.
NBC's "Sound of Music Live!" special . . . starring CARRIE UNDERWOOD . . . attracted 18.5 million viewers last Thursday night, which is a HUGE audience.
But judging by the shots the special has taken on social media, a lot of people thought it was a disaster.
In fact, Carrie saw so many jabs that she felt the need to warn the haters that JESUS WOULDN'T APPROVE. She Tweeted, quote, "Plain and simple: Mean people need Jesus. They will be in my prayers tonight . . . 1 Peter 2:1 - 25."
That verse says you should, quote, "rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind."
One of the "haters" was Kym Karath, who played Gretl in the original 1965 movie. She Tweeted, quote, "[I'm] mystified and disappointed so far. [I] must admit some scenes are actually painful to watch . . .
"Love Carrie Underwood, but this role is just not right for her. She is lovely, her voice is beautiful, but [her] acting is wrong." Carrie was playing JULIE ANDREWS' character, Maria.
Kym was watching the show with her former co-stars Charmian Carr, who was Liesl in the movie, and Angela Cartwright, who played Brigitta.
For the record, Kym also said a lot of POSITIVE things about the show, and later bemoaned the fact that the Internet was "twisting her words."
She said, quote, "[I] just read TMZ. [I] NEVER EVER used the words 'totally bombed.' Never. Never. Never would. Never could. Very, very disturbing."
Meanwhile, Kym was getting some criticism of her own. She Tweeted, quote, "Apparently some religious fanatics think that vile language and abuse co-exist with the teachings of Christ. Wow."
Lee's happy weekend started out on Friday when his song "I Drive Your Truck" picked up TWO Grammy nominations. It's up for Best Country song, and Best Country Solo Performance.
WILLIE NELSON canceled his February appearance at SeaWorld's "Bands, Brew & BBQ" event in
"And I understand there are petitions going around with thousands of people's names on them." One of those petitions is from Change.org, which has over 9,000 signatures.
Willie compared what goes on at SeaWorld to the cruelty he's seen in zoos. He said, quote, "I've [seen] some monkeys in the zoo where I don't blame them for wanting to throw stuff at you. It's hard on animals. It's cruel.
"I understand that there are some natural-habitat zoos out there, which is probably okay. But what they do at SeaWorld is not okay."
Willie's not alone on this. HEART and BARENAKED LADIES have also refused to perform at SeaWorld.
