WeirdVintage.tumblr.com is a collection of real ads and photographs from a long time ago that really intriguing to look at in 2013.
Here's a reminder that Americans will NOT tolerate someone bogarting their food . . . even if it's of the cheap, powdered variety.
On Sunday, 54-year-old Brian Rossi of
Now, Brian knew his 20-year-old son Alex was to blame. It's not clear if Alex used the cheese for something else, or if he just loves powdered cheese and doubled up on a batch. But Brian confronted him about it and told him to STOP using all the cheese packets.
And Alex LOST IT. He started beating his dad in the FACE, and tackled him to the ground.
Brian ended up with a busted-up eye, but eventually got Alex into a headlock, which ended the fight. Then he called police, who arrived and asked if Brian wanted to press charges, which he DID.
Alex was arrested, and is now facing charges for assault and battery.
The internet pounced on KACEY MUSGRAVES looking miserable after losing the Female Vocalist of the Year award to MIRANDA LAMBERT at last month's CMAs. But she wants you to know that she wasn't upset at all.
She tells "Rolling Stone", quote, "I didn't mean anything by that. It's funny because I was clapping and smiling before and after that clip. If you know me, sometimes when I'm sitting there, it looks like I'm not having a good time, but I am!"
She added, quote, "If anyone should be offended, it should be me! I mean, did you see my face? I look like a dumbass. It was a long day. My feet were hurting." Here's a pic.
She also made sure Miranda knew what went down. She says, quote, "I've reached out to her and let her know that that I didn't mean anything and we laughed about how dumb those things can get.
"As a new artist, I'm still getting used to cameras being on me 24/7. And there's no way you can be caught smiling at all times."
MIRANDA LAMBERT gifted DIERKS BENTLEY with a Polaris Ranger ATV utility vehicle after they wrapped this year's Locked and Reloaded tour.
Well, last week Dierks collided with a small tree and got it stuck with its front wheels dangling a few feet in midair.
He Tweeted a photo and wrote, "End of tour present from Miranda just arrived. I immediately proceeded to hang it up in a tree."
ERIC CHURCH may be a famous country star, but he still identifies with people who don't feel like they belong.
He tells "Rolling Stone", quote, "I certainly have a place in my heart for anybody who is different, anybody who is doing things that other people aren't doing. I've been that person."
Eric put some of that emotion in his song "The Outsiders", which he describes as being, quote, "for a 13 or 14-year-old kid who doesn't quite have it all together yet, and he's the outcast."
Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Craig Morgan, Sawyer Brown and Joe Diffie are some of the acts performing at BOTH the Arizona and the Wisconsin editions of Country Thunder 2014.
BLAKE SHELTON and LUKE BRYAN will be cohosting the ACMs for the second time.
It's Blake's fourth year in a row. He cohosted it twice with REBA MCENTIRE. The show airs April 6th on CBS. (Country Weekly)
STEPHEN BARKER LILES of LOVE
Love And Theft will need to bring an ample share of diapers when they tour. Stephen's bandmate ERIC GUNDERSON and his wife Emily had a baby boy back in March.
The male stars of "Duck Dynasty" say female fans are all over ‘em . . . even though they're married . . . and they kind of let themselves go, hygiene-wise.
In a new interview with "Men's Journal", PHIL ROBERTSON says, quote, "The scary part is that hundreds, if not thousands, of women want to marry SI [ROBERTSON] . . . womanhood has dropped to a new low in
Si is already married . . . as are the rest of the Robertson men. But that hasn't stopped women from wanting to have relations with them.
"Men's Journal" says that a group of "girls from
Even Phil, who's a grisly 67 years old, says women have come on to him . . . quote, "many, many, many" times since the show began.
He says, quote, "They walk up with a pair of little bitty, bitty bikini underwear and say, 'Will you sign these?' Well, my first question is, 'Are they clean?'
"But, see, as I move forward on my travels, I make sure I take two things with me: My Bible and my woman, Miss Kay. You see what I'm saying? I've put my heathen days behind me. I'm not going down that path again."
Phil adds that all this attention from the ladies is surprising . . . because in their family, quote, "There's not a lot of personal hygiene going on."
He says they only brush their teeth once a day . . . never comb their hair . . . don't floss their teeth . . . rarely shower or wash their faces . . . and do not use deodorant.
