All in all I have not gained an enormous amount of weight during my pregnancy. Right now about 32lbs. However....I was overweight when I got pregnant and that has made a big difference. I have been lucky. No bed rest, no gestational diabetes and minimal swelling.
The part that I know will be difficult is losing the weight from the baby after he is born and the extra I already had. I haven't developed a plan just yet. I really want to develop some good eating habits for the baby I think I will focus on less fast food, less salt and smaller portions. I am so over the extreme diets. Nutrisystem, Slimfast, Atkins and all the ones I have done that worked but then I gained weight back or didn't work at all. I feel like I have tried it all.
This baby is due the first week of May and I am ready! I am not going to stress about the weight but it is going to have to come off. Thank goodness there is a new Lighten Up for Life session starting soon.
