I love New Year's Eve. It's one of my most favorite holidays. New year, new ideas, new things, sparkles, champagne, kisses, sparklers!! I've done different things every New Year's including dance parties in a friend's bedroom in high school, a night alone at my mom and stepdad's home when I went to bed at 11:50pm (it was actually quite lovely), my first NYE with my now-husband (just a couple weeks after we met, spent at the Orange Peel dancing dancing dancing!!), the stroke of midnight 4 years ago when my husband proposed in the middle of downtown Asheville, small parties at our home, and this year I'm especially excited - we're staying home and cooking a lovely dinner, drinking prosecco, and waking tomorrow to a delicious brunch and mimosas!! I love all my past NYE's, every one of them.
